At the hosptial delivering the baby legs

Glad to be walking out of this place healthy!

Update on Kayla's progress: She is our little miracle baby. she's beating all odds. Mid-december when we met with the PT, she is testing at least at a 15 month level. From an OT standpoint, her left side is between 12-15 months, her right side, right on track. There is some delay and hesitation to her right hand and shoulder. At this point though, she doesn't clutch it, it's open and spread... we are just working on strengthening her hand through squeezing. she does wear a hand brace, but that's just to keep her pointer finger and thumb open more to help with her clumsiness. As the OT puts it, though, you have to look at it with a fine tooth comb to see what's wrong. It truly is amazing. Her speech and cognition is coming along as well. She seems to be right on track. She's more deliberate in how she talks vs. just pure babble and is quite in new situations, but she's doing great.
