Little People

I love the new little people mommy bought for me. They are the vintage ones she used to play with when she was a little girl. I absolutely love using my imagination.

Visiting with Lizzie and the boys!

We visited with Lizzie and her two boys, Jack and James. We met half way at Brown's Berry patch. It wasn't supposed to rain, but it poured. We had fun playing outside anyway! We had a wet and soggy ride home. So fun!

Drinking

Kayla is obsessed with our food and drinks. Mommy and Daddy are standing firm...waiting till 6 months to feed her, but they have let Kayla experiment with water out of cups. She's a pro.

Love

Kayla is growing growing growing. Look how well she sits up now. She's also a moving machine. At 4.5 months if you put her on her tummy she spins in circles and can move herself across a big space just by rolling and spinning. She loves to smile and laugh---especially belly laughs at her big brother. She calls for mommy nannananana. She loves to suck her two front fingers on her right hand. She's settled into 3 solid naps a day. She loves to grab skin and hair (ouch!). She plays peek a boo with her dresses.

Slip and Slide

Just another lazy afternoon at Patrick's house. He has a big hill and being my first slip n slide experience...I loved it! whew! We giggled our way through the afternoon.

Jam Making

Mommy and her friend Kim canned for the first time! They used a low sugar pectin and made it with agave nectar. It's supposed to not raise or lower your glycemic index. How cool is that? Mommy pureed the berries as daddy wanted, but next time she'd leave big chunks of berries in it. It's absolutely delicious. When you come visit, maybe we'll let you try some! Kim and Mommy are now determined to can some more stuff this summer.

Strawberry Picking

Mommy's excited...can you tell?
ooo...yum. I'll just eat. You pick.

8 quarts successfully picked! Yummy.

our new toy

Daddy and I have a new toy. He says it's called an X-box. All I know is that I love our new rockband game and steering wheel to drive cars. It's awesome.
