Baseball!

Grandma and Grandpa brought my birthday presents! Baseball glove and soccer net! Yippee! Grandpa helped mommy rake up the millions of leaves we had left while Daddy wrote his last big paper for class.

Climbing, Climbing, Climbing

I'm practicing my climbing. I'm super fast up the stairs. Watch out! This is at 9 months! At my 9 month appt I had a few words:

Mama, Dada, Bubu (for ben), All Done (plus I sign all done), Apple. The doctor says it's a great sign!

Halloween Candy Experimenting

I did candy experiments with Lucas and Leona. I put all kinds of things in water to see what would happen. I also put things in baking soda and water. I even melted some in the microwave. A lot ended up in my tummy too.

Food!

I quickly moved from purees to table food. I LOVE to eat. Anything and everything.

Biking

Kayla is getting super fast pushing her hippo. She's even trying to take steps on her own (in November). Just before 9 months she started wobbling to and from things. At 9.5 months she completely committed to walking (around Thanksgiving).

9 month stats (this is approx as it's off the top of my head)

The doctor thinks I'm going to plateau right at 50% for everything (unlike my super tall, chunky brother who at my age was 97%--around 26lbs). :)

Visiting with Tash and Aunt Karen

Cousin Tasha and Great Aunt Karen came to visit. Mommy was at a craft show, so I kept them busy!

Fall Fun

November was really warm so we enjoyed more fun outside!

Kayla is turning into quite the girly girly. We often find her trying to put things on her head, around her neck, or in her hair. She loves carrying shoes around too.

Giggles-early November

Mommy often finds Ben wrapping his arms around me and yanking me back...sometimes this ends in giggles and sometimes in tears. Today, full, blown giggles. (I'm 8 months in these photos)

Date Night

I went on a date with Mommy. Nope, those flowers aren't for her. They were for my friend Natalie. She was a lead princess. I've never been to a play and had a great time. Mommy had fun on our date too.
