I'm 2!

I'm 2! Welcome to my airplane birthday party! I had a blast!! Mommy and Daddy can't believe it's been 2 years. Here's a little snippet about me:
-- I'm 30 lbs 9 oz, just shy of 35 inches tall
--I love to sing the ABCs and can count to 20
--I'm obsessed with letter sounds and numbers
--I love to ride my bike, play catch with daddy
--My words have taken off! I'm now speaking 3-4 word sentences and copying everything mommy and daddy say.
--I love stories---reading and being told new ones
--I sleep in a big boy bed
--I'm almost potty trained
--I love to laugh, sing, dance, and play.

Wickham Farms

We visited a little "farm" up the street with some friends. I had a blast feeding the chickens, riding the tractor, jumping on the pillow, riding the train, and running through the corn maze!

1st Train Ride and Wedding!

We went to mommy's friend's wedding---her child hood friend, Beth! I was all dolled up in a suit and was a hit with the ladies!

We took a fall foliage train ride! It was so fun!

Playing with Patrick

I love my friend Patrick. We had dinner at Patrick's house and our parents kept hearing us giggle and having conversations with one another. I had a blast!

First Day of School

I started my first day of school! I loved it! I went in and came out smiling...

Unfortunately, after 3 weeks, I was miserable. Mommy and Daddy decided to keep me home after all. It was fun while it lasted...and look how cute I looked on the first day! Mommy thinks I look all grown-up.

Letter Activities

Mommy and her friend Kim have been planning and teaching letter/book/art activities for me and my friends. I've been really interested in ABCs and the sounds, so we took the plunge! Everyweek we do a new letter sound. We usually read a book, do some hands on activities and some sort of craft---plus a yummy snack. Mommy continues with me throughout the week, and then we start another letter on Mondays. I've been loving it. You can see the glimpse of A and B above!

I now can sing my ABCs and know several letter sounds and even more letter names. I'm doing great! Now if I could only learn my colors...I think I have daddy's problem!

First Apple Picking of the Season

We went on our first apple picking trip of the season. Mommy wants to go a few more times, but we enjoyed our first few bites of fresh apples!

End of Summer Fun

I got this cool playmat for christmas and Daddy finally spray glued it onto some stiff board. I love playing with it!

Daddy and I made this really neat balance board in our workshop. After experiencing cousin Auden's, I love my own just as much! How cool is my daddy??
My new bike...an early birthday present from mommy and daddy. I can peddle all by myself now!
